Just-in-Time Information Literacy – online course with open enrollment from UK Libraries

This just in from UK Libraries via CELT:

UK Librarians have created a new self-paced Information Literacy course, available in Canvas.  Anyone affiliated with UK can enroll:

Instructors may want to refer students to this short course to supplement library instruction in the classroom.

We have also created a new Guide to help instructors integrate library resources into their own Canvas courses.  Canvas includes an app to let you seamlessly integrate library subject and course guides right into your Canvas shell!  The guide includes information about how to do that, plus recommendations for other library resources you may want to link to.

We have other online tools that you may want to refer to in your class pages or recommend to students, to help them with their library research assignments.  Please also encourage students to Ask Us for help with library research!

Finally, don’t forget that librarians are available to conduct a library instruction session for your class, tailored to your research assignment!  You can get expert library assistance by: contacting your department’s librarian subject expert,  the Information Literacy department, or just Ask Us for more information.
