Anya Kamenetz and Ivory Tower, 2 events focusing on the future of higher education

Anya KamenetzAnya Kamenetz, author, blogger, and lead education reporter for NPR, will speak in the Singletary Center Recital Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 10th.  She has been called a “Higher Education Futurist” and is a featured commentator in the 2014 film Ivory Tower.Ivory Tower movie poster

Our Late Night Film Series is screening Ivory Tower two nights before her appearance, on September 8th at 7:00 p.m. in Memorial Hall.

Both events are free.

The talk is sponsored by the Graduate School, the Preparing Future Faculty Program, and the College of Education and is made possible by a grant from TIAA-CREF and the Council of Graduate Schools.
