Service Learning and Education Abroad

This just in from Susan McVey, Advisor, Education Abroad and Exchange, UK International Center:

service learning abroadHello all!

I hope everyone is enjoying the start of the school year, and made it through with great success at K week. With the start of a new school year comes new programs. Within the office of Education Abroad we have been working diligently to enhance our Service Learning Abroad portfolio. In addition to our summer options through our partner ISA, we also have semester term programs with a new partner IPSL.

To view the listing of international service-learning opportunities please visit Education Abroad Service Learning.  All Service Learning Abroad programs we now offer were carefully considered by the UK Education Abroad office and the UK Service Learning Committee and bring diversity among the international academic opportunities available to UK students, ranging from business, to agriculture, to healthcare and more.

Please feel free to share these opportunities with students who are interested in pursuing an international service-learning program. We hope to continue developing more opportunities for UK students to participate in international community engagement. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact one of our Education Abroad Advisors.
