Art and Creativity and Engineering at the University of Kentucky

Few institutions are as far along as the University of Kentucky, which developed introductory courses like Creativity and Design in Electrical and Computer Engineering as part of an overhaul of general education requirements.

Check out the article “Creative Spark” in ASEE’s Prism about the University of Kentucky’s EE101 Creativity and Design in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Successful completion of EE101 satisfies the UK Core Program’s requirement in Intellectual Inquiry in Art & Creativity.  ASEE is the American Society on Engineering Education and the Prism is the flagship publication of that organization – so to be mentioned is pretty hot stuff! Congratulations to Dr. Bruce Walcott and the rest of the EE101 faculty in the College of Engineering.
